About J. K. Graves, Author
Fictionally Speculating
J. K. was exposed to science fiction in the form of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Ray Bradbury stories from an early age. After reading The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings, he began to write his own fantasy stories - then promptly proceeded to spend the next three decades world-building and creating languages, with occasional writing. That world and its stories may never see the light of day, but they taught him a lot, and he is currently working on two unrelated fantasy novels that he intends to actually publish.
When not writing, J. K. enjoys playing jazz guitar and engaging in a new hobby - playing Tabletop Roleplaying Games, especially Pathfinder: Second Edition.
He lives in Dallas with his wife and four kids, two of which are feline.
“Every secret of a writer’s soul, every experience of his life, every quality of his mind, is written large in his works.”
