Holiss of the Mountains - My First Attempt at Worldbuilding!

As soon as I first read The Chronicles of Narnia, followed immediately by The Lord of the Rings, I decided I wanted to write my own epic fantasy, my own Chronicles of something. I've written bits and pieces, done a lot of worldbuilding and language creation, but never quite got it together as a complete story.

I've given up on trying to get it together and release it through some big name publisher, but I would like to try and release it as a serial, which fits better with the vision I've had of it telling the story from multiple perspectives of characters who were impacted by the title character, but never quite hearing from him himself. Sort of like the French film Vagabonde, if you're familiar. I don't recall if I saw that movie in college French class before or after I had this idea, but either way, there are clear parallels.

In any case, here is the first installment. I hope to put out more somewhat soon. The next several bits are written, would just need to be edited, so hopefully you won't have to wait too long!
